Central Park Portrait Shoot | Rachel & Garrett | New York, Ny

Kasi and I had such a great time meeting up with Rachel and Garrett for a shoot in Central Park West. We started off at Bethesda fountain and had fun trying to find some different ways to shoot in such an iconic location. With the cold weather and an early sunset, it meant we had much of the park to ourselves. After we walked around the park for a bit, we ended at The Dakota, the apartment building where John Lennon was shot and where Yoko Ono apparently still lives. For the last few photos we used the last bit of daylight and the glow of the street lights. Most of all we loved talking with the two of them and hearing about their first few month of living in the city. There’s something really cool about being in the middle of a big city and having friends to talk to a connect with.
